How is the Rotary International's Manual
of Procedure distributed?
Dear Rotarian Phil,
Monica Wanat, for the Council Services
Supervisor for Rotary International responded: "...
One of my responsibilities is to coordinate the revision and
mailing of the Manual of Procedure.
- After
each Council on Legislation, the revised MOP is mailed
to each club.
- For
the 2007 MOP, they were mailed to club presidents to ensure
the widest distribution possible (not all clubs have club
secretaries). If your 07-08 club president did not receive
a copy of the MOP, please let me know. Since we are now
in the 08-09 Rotary year, I could then mail a copy to
the 08-09 club president. However, if your 07-08 club
president did receive a copy, he or she can pass that
along to the next president.
- Please
know that the MOP is available on rotary.org under the
"Members" tab, in "Policies and procedures."
There is a section on "policy documents" on
the left-hand side of the page: http://www.rotary.org/en/Members/PoliciesAndProcedures/PolicyDocuments/Pages/ridefault.aspx
- Alternatively,
extra copies can be purchased through "shop"
on rotary.org."
- Those
attending PETS in late winter/early spring can purchase
a copy of the MOP at that event.
